The movement that began when
one woman designed her own way forward
and thousands followed.
Created to address grey area drinking and fill the space for women who didn’t identify with crisis or rock-bottom narratives, She Walks Canada offered belonging, community, and professional coaching — a place for women ready to evolve into alignment.
Today, the initiative continues under the leadership of Chelsea Powell, carrying forward the same purpose it was built on: to connect women in courage, curiosity, and change.
What began as a virtual collective during lockdowns grew into a global movement: together, women walked 22,000 kilometres across Canada, then 41,000 kilometres around the world, before leading more than 250 in-person walks across North America.
Founded by Lindsay Sutherland Boal, She Walks Canada became proof that movement — physical, emotional, and collective — can change lives.
